Online teaching in an Indonesian higher education institution: Student’s perspective

<p><span lang="EN-US">Online teaching has been pushed further as the best solution that addresses challenges of colleges and universities closure during COVID-19 pandemic. This study intended to disclose students’ perceptions online teaching. A quantitative survey approach was employed collect data from a total 175 students which were conveniently established amongst enrolled in academic year 2020/2021 at Indonesian Language Literature Education Department Musamus University, Indonesia. Applying SPSS software version 16 tool, obtained quantitatively analyzed using descriptive analysis frequencies percentages. The results showed majority respondent disagreeing with facts they have an access personal devices can easily both internet classes. agreeing materials well-planned various learning strategies used help understand. given opportunity raise answer questions feedback on work are very helpful. Lecturers need reach out check conditions before starting teaching.</span></p>
